Microsoft do a lot of ways to encourage the adoption of Windows 7. Including the offer price of sparing Windows 7 buy one get three. Price sparing scheme called Windows 7 is the Family Pack. This package allows a single license for the Windows 7 install on three computers at once or one can buy three.

This package, as quoted from ArsTechnica, on Monday (3/8/2009), only applies to Windows Home Premium. In the United States this package valued USD 149.99, while in Canada, USD 199.99.

Not yet ascertained whether this package will be offered also for sale Home Premium Windows 7 outside the U.S. and Canada. In Indonesia, Microsoft also has a similar offer but for Microsoft Office 2007.

Windows 7, including the Family Pack, will be available on 22 October 2009. 'Family package' is not available for the version of Windows 7, such as Professional or Ultimate.

Apple cover slit iPhone SMS

Two security researchers to prove that the Apple iPhone can only share in the SMS message alias. Apple also released to patch the rift. Cleft is repaired via iPhone OS 3.0.1 update. All iPhone users can get it via iTunes.

"Less than 24 hours after the demonstration, we have released free software updates that close the weaknesses that exist," a spokesperson for Apple, Neumayr, to ArsTechnica.

ArsTechnica reveal, this update size 230.1 MB. Although large in size, this update does not include methods to prevent jailbreak or unlock the iPhone.
