Manually Update Kaspersky 2010

If you have connected to the Internet, Kaspersky update databases can be done with very easily. You just go to the menu "My Update Center" and you can pull through Kaspersky update your databases.

But for those of you who do not have Internet connection, this may become a constraint. Because Kaspersky does not provide file databases that can be downloaded for Kaspersky 2010. Unlike the case with Kaspersky version 7 and earlier, Kaspersky version 7 provides a file databases that can be downloaded manually disitus official kaspersky.com

For those of you who do not have internet connection and want to download databases Kaspersky 2010 please follow the following ways:

Please make sure the time and date of your PC with the time and date correctly.

Steps to update the Kaspersky 2010
  • Download Kaspersky databases from here and extract.
  • Open your Kaspersky 2010.
  • In the upper right, click Settings
  • In the Settings menu, select the Update My Center
  • Click on the Settings menu Update source
  • In Update Settings window, removed the check on the Kaspersky Lab's update servers.
  • Still on the Update Settings window, add the source of Kaspersky update 2010 click the link + Add
  • Browse or search the location where you ektrak-file databases that you downloaded earlier. Then click the OK button
  • So there will be visible to a new source, as a source to update later. and click OK
  • After all finished, back to the menu "My Update Center" on the Kaspersky software in 2010, and click "Start Update"
