>> Tuesday, September 1, 2009
Backup external hard drive with disk. Enter an external hard drive port to the USB or FireWire port on the computer. Many external hard drives which already supports plug and play so no need to install the software and will load automatically when inserted into the computer.
In addition to the external hard drive, you can also be done by storing files on the CD. Insert the writable CD in the CD tray. Select a file to be saved, right-click the file name or icon, select a location "CD Drive" to send files or folders to be stored on the CD.
You can also backup in flash disk. However, the flash also has the capacity constraints. These devices usually used for temporary storage or data transfer. Insert the flash into the USB port, and the computer will add new destinarion as an option to transfer files.
Tips:
We recommend using the Windows XP software to facilitate the setting and backups. XP system checks for backup options. Click the "Start", then the option "All Programs, Accessories", then check "System Tools" to see the tool "Backup". If no, can be installed from the XP software disk, with instructions on the pages of Windows XP at Microsoft.com.
