According to West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan interim report said the victim died from the earthquake in West Java reached 44 people.

He mentions, deaths spread in eight districts of Cianjur Regency ten people, Regency Bandung (eight people), Tasikmalaya regency (eight people), Garut (three), Bogor Regency (two), Sukabumi (a), Ciamis (a) and West Bandung regency (one person).
According to the governor, the most severe damage occurred in Sub Cigalontang Tasikmalaya regency.
